Yes. FRIM is not a public recreational park. FRIM is a R&D institution which opens its campus door to the public to enjoy the man-made forests. FRIM forest is a testament to our efforts in rehabilitating a degraded land area. Please see the table below for entrance fee details:

For non-commercial shooting, you may want to make an application via e-mail to the FRIM One Stop Centre for approval. You would be required pay the camera and entrance fees at the main gate, and register yourself or your group at the One Stop Centre before proceeding with the activity. Keep all your tickets and receipts as evidence.
The library is open to the public with certain charges. Civil servants with valid working pass can enter the library for free. However, those without valid passes will have to pay RM10/entry, like others attached to private firms/non-civil servants. School children/university students with letter of permission will not be charged but those without one will have to pay RM1-2/entry. Alternatively, everyone is welcome to become a member of the library for a minimal fee of RM50/year.
