Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Seminar (MAPS) is organised every two years to share the latest research findings and informations on natural products from upstream to downstream towards commercialisation and application. The 15   MAPS will highlight a number of potential medicinal plant species that have the potential towards the development of nutraceutical, cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical products. Knowledge on quality, safety and efficacy of natural product-based ingredients will be shared to meet the market demands and global standards. Among the species of plants that will be highlighted are kratom, tongkat ali, kacip fatimah, agarwood, soursop and also the 18 NKEA species.
