FRIM organises ‘Biodiversity Talk: Conservation on Avifauna in Malaysia’

30 April 2019 (Tuesday) - Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) organised 'Biodiversity Talk: Conservation on Avifauna in Malaysia' at the FRIM Auditorium, Kepong yesterday. The programme aimed to raise public awareness on avifauna conservation as well as to share, discussions issues related to avifauna in Malaysia. FRIM, UCB collaborate to enhance natural products economic value

FRIM collaborates with MPMA, Plus Intervest for the essence of Eucalyptus culture tissue

13 March 2019 (Wednesday) - Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Malaysian Panel-Products Manufacturers’ Association (MPMA) and Plus Intervest in the collaboration of producing tissue culture Eucalyptus seedlings yesterday.  Abd Latif delivering his speech at the ceremony. FRIM-YKMAM co-organise ‘Run for Humanity’

26 February 2019 (Tuesday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Aid Malaysia (YKMAM) will co-organise #RunforHUMANITY at Kepong Botanic Gardens in FRIM on 16 March (Saturday). The run is held in conjunction with FRIM’s International Day of Forests (IDF) and YKMAM’s 10thAnniversary celebrations. The programme aims at promoting healthy lifestyles as well as public awareness on the importance of forest and environmental conservation, particularly among the youth. FRIM conducts a pre-evaluation of preparation for UNESCO nomination

11 February 2019 (Monday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has conducted a three-day Pre-evaluation Mission Programme to review the preparation of its Nomination Dossier and Conservation Management Plan (CMP) for FRIM Selangor Forest Park.
