FRIM-YKMAM co-organise ‘Run for Humanity’

Poster of the #RunforHUMANITY 26 February 2019 (Tuesday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Aid Malaysia (YKMAM) will co-organise #RunforHUMANITY at Kepong Botanic Gardens in FRIM on 16 March (Saturday). The run is held in conjunction with FRIM’s International Day of Forests (IDF) and YKMAM’s 10thAnniversary celebrations. The programme aims at promoting healthy lifestyles as well as public awareness on the importance of forest and environmental conservation, particularly among the youth. FRIM-JBK organise Biosafety Training Workshop

FRIM conducts a pre-evaluation of preparation for UNESCO nomination

11 February 2019 (Monday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has conducted a three-day Pre-evaluation Mission Programme to review the preparation of its Nomination Dossier and Conservation Management Plan (CMP) for FRIM Selangor Forest Park. FRIM launches ‘FRIM Go Biodegradable’ campaign

4 February 2019 (Monday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has launched the 'FRIM Go Biodegradable' campaign this morning to raise awareness on environmental conservation, reducing the use of plastic, polystyrene and plastic straw which is harmful to the environment.  Abd Latif speaking at the assembly.
