10 September 2019 (Tuesday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) Director General (DG) Dato’ Dr Abd Latif Mohmod has been conferred the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) award which carries the title Datuk in conjunction with the birthday of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, yesterday.

Abd Latif was among 42 individuals who received their honorary awards at the ceremony at the Istana Negara. Also present was the FRIM DG’s wife, Datin Halidah Kasmin.
