FRIM to reopen KBG from 2 October
17 September 2021 (Friday) – Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) will reopen Kepong Botanic Gardens (KBG) starting 2 October (Saturday) while Forest Skywalk, FRIM’s main campus and Taman Warisan will remain closed.
KBG will be open from 8.00am to 6.00pm (last entry: 30 minutes before closing time) from Saturday until Thursday. The garden will be closed every Friday.
Joggers must abide by the following:
- Only fully vaccinated joggers are allowed to enter and required to display vaccination evidence;
- Number of joggers at any one time at KBG: maximum 200 people, controlled using a tagging system;
- Areas allowed: Only on paved roads and jogging tracks; and
- Group activities such as taichi, zumba are not allowed nor the use of the rest huts.
All visitors are required to follow the instruction of FRIM security personals as well as comply with procedures imposed by the government, such as check-in using MySejahtera application and record body temperature not exceeding 37.5ºC.
FRIM would also accept cashless payment via Touch ‘n Go eWallet for entrance and parking fees as announced earlier [please refer to www.facebook.com/FRIMKepong/posts/3418710191497599].
